Gratitude Challenge Fundraiser

In 2017, my cousin Wesley Lincoln tragically took his own life. From the very first day, Friends for Survival was there for me and my large extended family. It is an honor and a privilege to serve as your Executive Director, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to carry forward this vital work. Our organization provides essential support to suicide loss survivors, and your continued generosity is crucial to our mission.

As the holiday season approaches, it’s a natural time to pause and reflect on the blessings in our lives. I have found that practicing gratitude can be a powerful source of healing and hope. I encourage you to explore our annual Gratitude Wheel as a guide to mindfulness and appreciation during these busy and sometimes stressful months.

One of the things I am most grateful for is our incredible team of facilitators, volunteers, and staff. Their dedication and compassion touch countless lives and make a profound difference for those who are grieving. Together, we see the ongoing need for our services: each month, we receive around 100 new requests for support, and in 2025, over 2,280 friends will have participated in our meetings and programs.
